We
will start out right at the beginning, Burlington Vermont. This shot is
heading out of Burlington a little past North Beach. This is as it looked
shortly after abandonment.
Next the line meanders North along the lake towards Colchester. If you ever are in Burlington this is now the Main Bike path and is a great ride with spectacular Views. When it gets to the Winooski River and the Colchester line the bed ends there as the bridge that used to cross the river is gone. Although during the summer months there is as of this time a small ferry that will shuttle you across to continue on the Path/Rail bed
Next we come to the crown jewel of the line as far as I am concerned,
